 CanoaOasis is the most unique property in all of Canoa.  We are not a hotel, hostel or B&B. We are a private, one acre beachfront estate. Right on the beach, just steps from the water, yet totally secluded, completely private and surrounded by a 9 ft wall. The entire property has lush mature trees and foliage, along with lots of wildlife to view on  the property.  The tiki bar and pool are the centerpiece, with 60 coconut trees on the beach to provide shade and great views of the ocean. It’s like living in your own jungle, right on the beach.  Known as The “Secret Garden”, with nothing between us and the ocean.

 

We are located 1.3 km from the village center, an easy 10 minute walk or 1 minute by car or taxi.  Enjoy the bars, restaurants, and dance music, then come home to your personal oasis.  All you hear are the waves and the birds.

 

Canoa, Ecuador is known for its magnificent sunsets. It is truly a magical place. The beach has fine white sand (only 2 beaches in Ecuador have it) and is the longest beach in Ecuador @12 km.  Our private beach area has 2 ramadas  for our guests’ use. There is an excellent surf break right in front of our property. Along the beach, look for sand dollars,  beautiful conch shells, and pieces of pre-Columbian pottery that wash down from the Chone river into the ocean.

 

There is plenty of room to spread out with our maximum of only 8 guests staying at the property at once. The large dining/seating area is completely shaded and perfect for working remotely, virtual schooling, or just enjoying your meal.  Fiber-optic WIFI is located everywhere within the entire property. We live in the main house on the property so we are always available to give recommendations or answer questions you may have.
